Not all outdoor areas are equal. We’re seeing more and more outdoor areas being curated with a timeless, resort style, including warm neutral outdoor designer pieces. Think layered textures, curved silhouettes, soft earthy tones, and pieces that feel both relaxed and architectural at the same time.
Our recent collaboration with Casa Olive and Estilo Studio brought exactly that feeling to life through a beautifully styled outdoor setting centred around natural tones and modern outdoor furniture.
The shoot featured Estilo Studio’s elegant Drift Sling Chairs and sculptural Là Arch Sun Beds in tan, paired with our signature Chocolate Brown Cantilever Umbrella as the hero overhead shade piece.
The combination created a refined resort-style look that feels equally at home beside a pool, on a coastal terrace, or within a modern Australian backyard.
Chocolate brown umbrellas continue to grow in popularity as homeowners and designers move toward warmer outdoor palettes over traditional black or charcoal finishes. Paired with soft tan furnishings and curved outdoor furniture, the umbrella added depth, contrast, and a more organic feel to the overall space.
The styling also leaned into some of the outdoor design trends we’re seeing more of across Australia:
- Warm neutral outdoor furniture
- Resort-style outdoor spaces
- Curved sun lounges and sculptural seating
- Earthy brown and tan colour palettes
- Architectural cantilever umbrellas
- Luxury poolside styling
- Layered outdoor textures and soft coastal tones
One of our favourite elements from the collaboration was how naturally the shade and furniture complemented one another without competing for attention. The soft sling seating, curved sun beds, and oversized cantilever canopy worked together to create an outdoor space that felt calm, elevated, and livable.
