Installation Guide

Step by Step Guide - Bolt Down Base

Step 1

Place the bolt down base on the ground where it is to be installed (minimum 100mm concrete slab). Mark where the 4 holes are to be drilled. You can either remove the base or keep it in position and drill the holes according to the marks.

Step 2

Screw in appropriate bolts (Chemset or DynaBolt) to about 80% depth until all bolts are in the slab. Then entirely fasten the bolts the remaining amount. Next, prepare the umbrellas placement by greasing the pole and top of the rotating ring.

Step 3

Position the base ring over the post and let it slide to the bottom. Hold your umbrella upright and lower it over the pole of the base. The bottom of your umbrella should rest on the base ring. Then rotate the umbrella in its desired position. To lock the umbrella in its position, place your provided winding handle into the lower hex nut on the rear of the frame and rotate it clockwise until it is firmly secure.

Step by Step Guide - Inground Base

Step 1

Mark out where you would like to place your umbrella, making sure it will be the best position for your purposes and area. Then, dig a hole that is approximately 400mm wide and 900mm deep.

Step 2

Fill your hole with concrete according to its instructions and position your base into it. Ensure that 15–20mm of the base ring is exposed above the above ground level (including pavers, grass, tiles etc.). The base will need to be clamped in place to ensure it remains perfectly upright and centred in the hole.

Step 3

Once the concrete is set, grease your base pole and rotating ring and slide your umbrella in place. To lock the umbrella in, place your provided winding handle into the lower hex nut on the rear of the frame and rotate it clockwise until it is firmly secure.
