The cantilever umbrella was invented by Ekkehard Koehn in 1994, who then started the Revolvashade brand. After leading the industry for nearly 30 years and at 90-something years of age, he handed the business over to Andy Zwicker, an innovative and creative entrepreneur, in January 2022. Under Andy’s guidance, Revolvashade is everything it used to be, but with an updated logo and website, more technology for precision, increased customer and after-sales support, and a new home at 10 Alloy Street, Yatala. Andy designed Revolvashade’s first centre-pole umbrella, gained more trusted retailers and has employed more dynamic people as part of the team.
