Back in 1993, Revolvashade was building hand-made umbrellas for a select few. These early designs were rudimentary but strong, created by dedicated designers and makers. As demand quickly grew, the design was refined, and hi-tech manufacturers were brought into the fold.
Since then, we’ve grown from a boutique workshop to a leader in premium shade solutions. Our designs are now manufactured with cutting-edge equipment and a team of specialised craftspeople.
We take a quality-first approach from start to finish. Our materials are sourced from all around the world. It’s not in our nature to create something that will last a few years, only to be thrown out. If we’re offered material that doesn’t meet our high standards, it doesn’t make the cut. This commitment to quality is why our umbrellas last for over 20 years—that’s a great thing for you and the environment.

Your umbrella starts its life as one long roll of premium acrylic canvas. From there, the canopy is precisely cut using state-of-the-art ultrasonic machinery for clean edges and seamless consistency.
All fabric is carefully sewn by our team of highly skilled craftspeople. They bring many years of experience to every stitch, with a keen eye for detail and dedication to their art.
To achieve a heavy-duty and sleek frame, it is extruded from marine-grade aluminium. This process blends incredible strength with a seamless aesthetic, creating the perfect shape. Next, we powder coat it with your choice of six standard colours and assemble by hand before adding the canopy.
Meticulous attention to detail remains central to our process, with inspection, testing, photography, and documentation forming part of our overall quality control procedures.
At Revolvashade, we design and build high-quality products with a long lifespan, so you don’t have to replace it. While nothing lasts forever, all our umbrella parts can be repaired or replaced when the time comes (for a minimal fee).
When your umbrella can be easily fixed at home, simply order the parts you need, and we’ll walk you through how to do it yourself. For more complex repairs, we’ll take care of it in our factory or send someone out to help. So, if it’s damaged, don’t throw it out—chances are it’s got many more years left!
